Winterization and Spring Startup
A fall blow-out and a spring startup, on any sprinkler system in the metro, whether or not we're the ones who put it in the ground.
Chapter 01
You don't have to be an existing customer
Both winterization and spring startup are available on any sprinkler system in the metro, whether Pro Sprinkler installed it or someone else did years ago. If it's got a valve box and a controller, we'll service it.
That's worth saying plainly because a lot of homeowners assume the company that didn't install their system won't touch it for seasonal work. We do, every fall and every spring.

Fall winterization
Every zone gets a compressed-air blow-out with commercial compressors, the backflow preventer is protected, and valves and the controller are shut down for the season. We leave a written system condition report behind so you know what, if anything, needs attention before spring.
It's the single cheapest thing you can do to stop an Oklahoma cold snap from bursting a line or ruining a valve head. Peak season is October and November, and slots fill fast, so scheduling can run up to three weeks out once the first cold front hits the forecast.
Chapter 03
Spring startup
Once the last freeze passes, usually mid-March to early April in Tulsa, we pressurize the system and check for leaks, test and time every zone, audit head alignment and coverage, and reset the controller schedule for the new season.
It's the point in the year where small problems are cheapest to catch, a head that drifted out of alignment over the winter or a zone that's lost pressure, before they turn into a brown patch in July.
