Why watering and drainage are one conversation here

Tulsa clay does not drain. It holds water like a bathtub.

That is the whole problem with this soil. A system can be perfectly designed, perfectly timed and perfectly aimed, and the low corner of the yard will still stay wet for two days after a storm, kill the turf and grow mold in the mulch. Watering more does nothing. Watering less does nothing.

So we look at where the water comes from and where it needs to go, and we build the shortest clean path between the two. French drains through the chronic wet spots, catch basins at the low points, downspouts buried and carried away from the foundation. If you are planning beds or hardscape, call before you plant. Fixing the drainage afterward costs two to three times as much.

We fit Hunter and Rain Bird components and nothing else. Both are stocked in every supply house in the country, which means any competent irrigation technician can work on what we built, wherever you are and whoever you call. We would rather earn the next visit than own the only wrench that fits.

Most residential systems in the Tulsa metro run $2,500 to $5,500 depending on lot size, water pressure and zone count. Every quote is free and comes with an itemized breakdown, so you see what each zone costs before anything is dug.

Diagnosing a broken system takes the same truck, the same licensed technician and the same time whether we write a quote or make the fix. The $110 standard service call covers the trip, the first 30 minutes on site and a full diagnosis. Most repairs are found and finished inside that first visit, and you approve any price beyond the service call before we go further.

Yes. Winterization and spring startup are available on any sprinkler system in the metro, whoever put it in the ground. We blow every zone out with commercial air compressors, check valves and backflows for freeze risk, and leave a written note on anything that needs attention before spring.

We pressure purge every zone with compressed air, protect the backflow preventer, shut the valves and controller down for the season, and leave a system condition report behind. It is the cheapest thing you can do to keep an Oklahoma cold snap from splitting a lateral.

Once the last freeze passes, usually mid March to early April in Tulsa. We pressurize the system, test and time every zone, correct head alignment and coverage, and reset the controller for the season ahead.

Most residential installs are one to two days of on-site work. Scheduling normally runs 5 to 10 business days out, and during spring startup and fall winterization season lead times can reach three weeks, so it pays to call early.
